Grant has been on the Board of Directors of the Utah Rail Passengers Association since its creation in 2018. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Planning and a Master of City and Metropolitan Planning from the University of Utah. Grant is a member of the American Planning Association, Association for Pedestrian and Bicycle and Professionals, Rails to Trails, the League of American Bicyclists, and the Utah Society for Environmental Education.
Grant claims Highland, Utah, as his hometown and currently lives Salt Lake City’s East Liberty Park neighborhood since 2013. An avid photographer, Grant likes to get out and photograph the beauty of Utah and spend time with his wife and son.
